Leadership takes many forms and we believe that it takes a good base of knowledge to be a skilled, effective leader. A recent strategic decision made by the board of directors is to expand beyond the luncheons by providing special gatherings around leadership development. Some creative and unique events will be sponsored by ANPA in the very near future, including a statewide initiative on the subject. ANPA has a goal to increase the number of Alaska Natives represented on various boards in our communities.
