Alaska Natives have always looked out for the good of the group for survival. In order to better our communities, we must exercise our traditional Native values in this ever-changing world. ANPA works with the Alaska Federation of Natives Convention to coordinate a top-rate Job Fair for major employers wishing to hire Alaska Natives. Additionally, our members serve as role models & mentors to young Alaska Natives under the Alaska Native Heritage Center High School program. ANPA looks to expand its mentoring opportunities by working with the Anchorage School District beginning in fall of 2003. Endless opportunities are on the horizon with planning from the ANPA Mentoring Committee.

Mentoring
Startling statistics show 50% of Alaska Natives are under the age of 18. Help shape a young Alaska Natives future by becoming a role model and mentor. Success of our future generations will be dependent upon the youth of today.
